Singer, cellist, nyckelharpa player, Ellen Adamson has a Masters in Vocal Performance and has appeared with Opera Omaha and Texas Tech Opera.
She studied cello with Margaret Brooke and with Charles Baker at North Texas Univ. Ellen has performed in Orchestras in seven states and currently plays cello in the Falmouth Chamber Players.
She is also a Swedish Nyckelharpa performer and lecturer.
Our collaborative pianist of the day Elizabeth Hughes Tipton is a native of Wisconsin, holding graduate degrees in performance from the Juilliard School of Music with post graduate work at Columbia Teachers college in N.Y.C. After a thirty year career as performer teacher in Westfield, N.J. she moved to Cape Cod with her husband and is now on the faculty of The Cape Conservatory of Music and Art in Falmouth. She has performed extensively as a soloist, in chamber music ensembles and as a collaborative pianist in New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts.
